Getting started
This is the user guide to purchase Tokenized Stocks on DCLEX.
Welcome to DCLEX, your one-stop solution for trading stocks such as Google, Apple, Tesla, and many more on the blockchain with USDC. Let's get started!
Claim your Digital Identity
Create Wallet: You will need a MetaMask or any other Ethereum Web3 wallet. If you don’t already have a wallet, you can create one here.
Connect Wallet: Once your wallet is set up, go to the DCLEX platform and connect your wallet.
Verify Identity: If it’s your first time logging in, click on ‘Verify Identity’ to complete the verification process by submitting your ID documents.
Claim DID: Once your identity has been verified, you can claim your DID to your wallet. Make sure you have 20 USDC and sufficient Ether in your wallet to claim your Digital Identity. Now, you are ready to trade and tokenize stocks!
Buy Stocks
Once you have verified your identity and deposited sufficient funds (USDC) into your DCLEX account, go to the ‘Stocks’ tab.
Select the stock you wish to purchase and click ‘Buy’.
Input the quantity and the limit price at which you want to buy these stocks, then click ‘Place Order’.
Input the amount and price of the stock you want to buy, then click ‘Place Order’.
You can view the status of your order in the ‘History’ tab. Wait for the order status to change from ‘Pending’ to ‘Executed’.
Withdraw Stocks
To withdraw your stock to your Ethereum wallet, go to the ‘Withdraw’ tab. Ensure you have sufficient Ether in your wallet for gas fees.
Select the stock and the quantity of shares you wish to withdraw, then click on ‘Request Withdrawal’.
In your wallet, click ‘Confirm’.
In DCLEX, click ‘Import Tokens’. Then, in your wallet, click ‘Add Token’ to display your tokens in your wallet.
Success! Your tokenized stocks are now in your wallet.
